As it is known, caves were first natural shelters used by human beings. Therefore, they attract the attention of many researchers and compel them to study them. With those research, more and more beauty and mystery of cave are discovered, which brings us today’s topic “9世界上美丽的洞穴视图”
1. Harrison’s Cave
Barbados, the most easterly island in the Caribbean, is the home of Harrison’s Cave. This magnificent, crystallized limestone cavern is said to be one of the wonders of the world. It is believed that Harrison’s Cave is the only cave in the world where running water is found along with color crystal-like formations. The cave has large chambers, stalagmites, stalactites, lakes, streams and waterfalls.
2. Crystal Cave
Crystal Cave is a marble cave in Sequoia National Park, in the U.S. state of California. It is in the Giant Forest region, between the Ash Mountain entrance of the park and Giant Forest. The cave is a constant 9 °C (48 °F), and only accessible by guided tour.
3.阿里·萨德尔洞穴
The Ali Sadr Cave (Persian: غار علی صدر) is a cave located about 100 kilometers north of Hamedan, western Iran. The cave walls can extend up to 40 meters high, and it contains several large, deep lakes. The cave has a river flowing through it and most travel through the cave system is done with a boat.
4. Lechuguilla Cave
Lechuguilla Cave位于新墨西哥州的卡尔斯巴德洞穴国家公园,是世界上已知的第五名洞穴(122英里(196公里)),是美国大陆(1,604英尺(489 m)),美国最深的洞穴,是最深的。但是它以其不寻常的地质,稀有地层和原始状态而闻名。进入洞穴的通道仅限于批准的科学研究人员,调查和勘探团队以及国家公园服务管理相关的旅行。
5.卡拉卡洞穴
The Karaca Cave (known locally as Karaca Mağarası) is a network of caves located near the Turkish town of Torul.There is no stream in the cave of Karaca, but water leaking through the cave ceiling still provides water for the formation of dripstones. Other than those, there are some travertine pools and ponds inside the cave. The ponds, which are at the entrance of the third and fourth halls, have a high water content.
6.风洞
Wind Cave National Park is a United States national park 10 miles (16 km) north of the town of Hot Springs in western South Dakota. The cave is notable for its displays of the calcite formation known as boxwork. Approximately 95 percent of the world’s boxwork formations are found in Wind Cave. Wind Cave is also known for its frostwork. The cave is also considered a three-dimensional maze cave.
7. waitomo glow虫洞
Waitomo Glowworm Cave是新西兰北岛的一个洞穴,以其glow虫(Arachnocampa Luminosa)闻名。These glowworms are found exclusively in New Zealandand around the size of an average mosquito.
8. Eisriesenwelt Cave
The Eisriesenwelt (German for“World of the Ice Giants”)是一个天然石灰石冰洞,位于奥地利的沃尔芬,位于萨尔茨堡以南约40公里处。该洞穴位于阿尔卑斯山Tennengebirge部分的Hochkogel山内。这是the largest ice cave in the world, extending more than 42km and visited by about 200,000 tourists every year.
9. Yellow Dragon Cave
